Megan Cooper gets a hat trick as California University of Pennsylvania shoots well to win big on the road, takes streak of wins to 6 games

Leaving their opponents in the dust, California University of Pennsylvania overcame University of Virginia 7 - 1 at Main Street Arena -- Charlottesville in VA on Sunday. California University of Pennsylvania tallied up four goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. In the second period, California University of Pennsylvania outscored their opponents by one goal and kept the lead. University of Virginia's fate was sealed. In the final period California University of Pennsylvania scored one goal adding to their overall lead and winning the game.

Having an outstanding day for California University of Pennsylvania, Megan Cooper scored the hat trick with four goals. Getting started, Cooper put the puck in the net in the first period. Dana Bowersox and Melissa Heisler got the assists on this goal. During the first period, Cooper netted another goal. Melissa Heisler and Jess Britton got the assists on this goal. Adding another score for California University of Pennsylvania, Cooper put the puck in the net without assistance in the first period. Then Cooper put the biscuit over the goal line without any assistance in the second period.

California University of Pennsylvania's Maria Sciacca finished with seven saves for the win. University of Virginia's Lizzie Samardge had just 15 saves on 22 shots and got the loss.
