Events have grown, rivalries have new showcases & more teams are involved than any other time in league history.
Here are a few highlights to get excited about:
New Season...
The 13th season of DVCHC Women's Hockey sets sail from the shores of Annapolis on Friday, October 3rd when the Naval Academy hosts Liberty University. For 5 months following, a massive 108 game season will wind its way across 6 states with an estimated 270 athletes!
* 25, non-DVCHC games yet to be added.

The women of Navy will host Liberty Univ. in the DVCHC season opener, Oct 3
Big Events...
EAST COAST SHOWDOWN (Nov 21-23 - near Philadelphia)
Half of the DVCHC will compete in the tourney where every moment matters, young players meet college teams & the 1st women's champ is crowned! Full story.
2015 FROZEN FAIR CHAMPIONSHIP (Feb 13-15 - Harrington, DE)
The regular season reaches its epic conclusion at the Delaware State Fairgrounds. Do-or-die games, cheering crowds & of course, the cup! Full story soon.
2015 ALL-STAR SATURDAY (Apr 18 - Hershey, PA)
All teams celebrate the season with a day on pro ice. At the Giant Center, the DVCHC All-Star, New-Star & Coaches Deathbowl games will thrill while the season awards & Caitlin's Smiles charity are featured.
New Opponents...
UPENN, last season's undefeated champion of D2, moves to D1 this season. The Quakers helped found the conference back in 2002 & are back to make their mark.
Loyola University Maryland joins D1 for the team's historic 1st season. Years in the making, the Greyhound roster is eager to prove something in the DVCHC. Full Story.
New Divisions...
D1 grows to 10 teams in season 13! To accommodate the size, the league divided the division into a "North" and "South." (To be renamed this month.)
Teams will play nearby rivals 2x and cross divisions to take on potential playoff opponents.
For teams low on numbers and big on beginners, D2 is home. 6 universities fill the division & with the reigning champs off to D1, whomever wins the title this season will do so for the 1st time.
New State Rivalry...
For the first time in league history, MARYLAND'S teams will have a chance to battle for the bay. Towson, U. Maryland, Loyola, the US Naval Academy, all neighbors in the great "Old Line State" are at odds for the first Maryland State Title. Each team plays the other for a total of 4 points this regular season, best record takes the whole pot of crabs. Watch for more on this as we invite the state's famous locations & notables to take part in the contest!
