DVCHC play is back underway at UVA.
(Say that 3x fast!) 

The 13th season reemerges from winter break this Saturday, with a thrilling doubleheader in the D1 south: VIRGINIA vs NAVY.

The match-up will reopen a season quickly approaching its twilight.  32 games remain across the next 4 weekends, each one a final opportunity to move up, earn a seeding at playoffs... or space at all.

Like all teams at this stage, the Mids & Hoos have been eying the post-season, but in different ways. UVA has a tentative ticket to playoffs.  With a 3-5-1 record, they've played their losses close & pack a quick punch.  1 win here would make their post-season trip official.

The undefeated Academy looks to spoil that effort.  Seasoned from a semester of ACHA D1 play, they'll earn the DVCHC South's 1st seed if they can take two in Charlottesville.

This weekend's "if's" and "then's" will not be unique.  For the next 4 weeks, every regular season game can spell big consequences for teams as they track their chances.

The final what-if's will be settled at the 2015 Frozen Fair Championships, Feb 13-15th.

This season's three-day finale will pit 12 DVCHC teams (and 150+ athletes) in 14 do-or-die games at the famous Delaware State Fairgrounds.

Unique to this season is a bracket change that will pit D1 North vs D1 South for every final placing, 8th place to 1st.  In D2, the excitement of a 4 team showdown returns to determine which team will raise their very first championship banner.

Heroics and heartbreak, rivalry and resilience.  It all begins anew this weekend.
