D2 Top Scorer

#7 -- Sydney Flemister, SJU

REG. SEASON:  14 GP,  32 PTS,  22 G,  10 A,  -1

2016 PLAYOFFS: 1 GP,  4 PTS  (3 G, 1 A)

.

#13 -- Lexie Brackenridge, COLUMBIA

REG. SEASON:  8 GP,  29 PTS,  16 G,  13 A,  +14

2016 PLAYOFFS: 2 GP, 2 G, 3 A

Lexie is a very talented hockey player.   Her drive to succeed is evident every time she steps onto the ice.  Lexie scores in the big games when it matters most and in the lesser games.  She has earned my complete respect as a true competitor.

#14 -- Maggie Ford, ROWAN

REG. SEASON:  12 GP, 27 PTS  (15 G,  12 A)  +13

2016 PLAYOFFS: 3 GP,  4 PTS (2 G,  2 A)

Maggie Ford lead our team in points this year as a sophomore. She has been an integral part of our team, and we look forward to watching her improve even further over the next two years of her college career.

#2 -- Carly Buchholz, UVA

REG. SEASON:  15 PTS,  9 G,  6 A,  -1

2016 PLAYOFF: 3 GP, 4 PTS (3 G, 1 A)

#14 -- Tori Peters, IUP

REG. SEASON:  11 GP, 15 PTS  (10 G,  5 A)

2016 PLAYOFF:  2 GP,  0 PTS

Tori scored 15 points for us this season including a game winner with less than 30 seconds to go in the game.  She could regularly be counted on to spark the offense and help to get us on the board.

#5 -- Andie Plumeri, RUTGERS

REG. SEASON:  7 GP,  15 PTS,  11 G,  4 A,  -25

Andie transferred to Rutgers this past fall and has been a powerhouse player from the get-go. She somehow manages to be everywhere at once--blocking off a player, then driving down the ice to take a shot on the net. During a game, it's not uncommon for her to be sick on the bench, but she never misses a beat, pulling the fastest changes and refusing to give up the puck without a fight.

Not only does she play a mean defense (and score some crazy goals), she passes to everyone and is genuinely invested in helping others improve their abilities: Andie's always the first one on the ice and helps out however she can--whether it's running drills, running errands, or running for treasurer (and winning the position!). She takes time at practices (and on her own time, during free skate sessions) to coach our newest players on things like skating and shooting technique. Needless to say, she's an integral member of our team, and we wouldn't be the same without her.

#12 -- Kalena Hammond, NAVY

REG. SEASON:  13 GP,  14 PTS  (5 G,  9 A)  +2

2016 PLAYOFFS: 2 GP,  2 PTS, (2 G)

Kalena joined the Navy Women’s Hockey team as a freshman, never having slipped on skates before.  She has developed into an aggressive, key player who is tenacious and unforgiving.  Though she is small in stature, Kalena always comes out of a tussle with the puck.  Her lightning speed and agility helps her skate blue line to blue line with ease.  If Kalena is given the opportunity to score, she will take advantage of it and continue to increase her point count.  Kalena leads by example by skating her hardest until the whistle is blown.

#14 -- Jill Carrie, AU

REG. SEASON:  10 GP,  7 PTS,  2 G,  5 A,  -10
