DVCHC Set To Host Another Exciting East Coast Showdown
The East Coast Showdown is back for another year! The DVCHC’s annual event will once again include matchups between the league’s members as well as a high school showcase to highlight some of the East Coast’s upcoming talent. The 2018 East Coast Showdown is set for November 16-18 at IceWorks in Aston, Pennsylvania.
Ten Division 2 ACHA teams – Columbia, Loyola, Penn, Towson, Villanova, Rowan, Montclair and Maryland from the DVCHC, along with non-league opponents Delaware and Navy – are set to do battle, while fellow DVCHC members Slippery Rock and Saint Joseph's will also return to the Showdown stage representing D3.
The high school showcase will take place on Saturday, November 17 at 3:45 p.m., offering high schoolers the opportunity to show off their talents in front of some of the East Coast’s top club hockey teams.
IceWorks is a premier hockey facility just outside Philadelphia that offers four rinks, a pro shop and two restaurants.
