Starting her second year as Phoenix President and goaltender, Lauren had her hopes and expectations set high to bring her team back to the Frozen Fair. She always aims to be the best in her position, and with only one year of experience in net, she has accomplished more than goalies with years of experience. Finishing the regular season with 5 shutouts in Division 2 (Division Leader) and also 1 shutout against a Division 1 team (a 251:43 shutout streak all together) certainly put her at the forefront as the MVP of the team. The team’s confidence is boosted significantly each period that Lauren keeps the opposition at bay. But the work doesn’t stop there for this special player. As President, she works tirelessly to communicate with her team on a 24/7 basis to keep the schedule organized. And when all the league requirements are met, she can be found creating a multitude of fundraisers, publicity events, and miscellaneous scrimmages against local teams.
